We've had many adventures in this family. This is the latest.
On the way to my cousin's wedding, we stop in Champaign, IL to see where my parents went to school and met: the University of Illinois. We park, wander around a bit, head to the college town and eat amazing food at a local place, then walk back to the car. It won't start.
Yep, this beast has been all over the country, and has done this to us before (only worse) in Nowheresville, Wyoming.
Towed away, uncle drives a ways up to get us, our car is fixed in a storage unit by a guy building a Nova, we are 4 hours late to the rehearsal (as in we didn't make it).
What did we do for 5 hours in the meantime? We practiced our music, we played with the baby and the fountain, we sat on a curb, walked around, sat on a concrete slab, sat some more, and waited. But it was actually really fun and time passed quickly.
Stranded with violins, a few toys, and a car seat.

hehehahaha. these pics made me laugh, particularly the one of babers and TZ.
Ah, good times. Juice botles, I must say, make suprisingly excellent headrests. Highly recommended in a pinch.
Its "the squirrel man."
