When I think about the past, I always picture it in black and white. I forget that people lived in color in the 1940's and that their lipstick was actually bright red. These color pictures from 1939-1943 show us what life was like in color.
My dad likes to tell the story of when I was young and I asked him when the world went from black and white to color. Makes logical sense when you watch the old movies and they are in black and white and the newer ones are in color... ;)
