International Center of Photography



Among our explorations in NYC was a stop at the ICP because this year they are focusing on fashion photography. The exhibit going on right now is of Edward Steichen's work.

It was of his fashion photography of models and celebrities from the 1920-30's. And it was stunning.

The above picture is of Gary Cooper, in case you were wondering.

(PS: You pay what you want at this place and other museums in NYC on Friday nights after 5 pm. So that's what we did.)

Didja know...
Edward Steichen spent his teenage years, and started to photogrsph) in Milwaukee (his home was basically just east of the Marquette Interchange, north of the river).
