Fun things to do in Milwaukee - summer style

Some ideas:
-Brewer's game - tailgate for sure
-Jazz in the Park - be sure to take some yummy food for a picnic
-Bastille Days - start it out with a 5k run through the city
-Summerfest - be prepared for craziness
-State Fair - eat, eat, look at animals, eat
-Walk around the Zoo
-Hike in the Kettle Moraine
-Bike on the John Muir trail
-Terre Andre beach
-Walk through Lake Park and eat outside at Cafe Hollander
-Riversplash
-4th of July fireworks on the lake
-Pick a lake and go skiing
-Kayak on the Milwaukee River
-See the MSO do their free lunch series
-Venture down to Chicago or up to Door County
-Eat lots of frozen custard
-See a summer movie on the UltraScreen
-Brady Street Days
-Get yummy food at the Milwaukee Public Market and have a picnic on the lake
-Go shopping on Broadway St.
-Dress up fancy and get at Lake Park Bistro or Bacchus
-Lay out in the country and look at the stars
