Utah Adventure: Day 3 - Night

After driving all the way through Utah and hiking Kolob and driving some more, we went to Vegas - mainly so I could check it off my list. We had fun.

I feel like I should explain some of these pictures...

Hotel. Stratosphere. Got a sweet deal. Impossible to find your way around due to the casino.

Downtown Vegas. Watching a Queen light show. Thank goodness I love Queen, otherwise who knows what my face would have been...

I just wanted to see the cowboy man from "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids."

At the top of the hotel.

Taken inside a moving vehicle. Always a fun way to try and get good pictures. :)

Buckethead

Me: "Um, that guy has a bucket on his head."

R: "Yeah, or a lampshade."

(*Shhhhhhhhhredding guitar* as we get closer.  He not only has a bucket on his head, but a white mask on his face and a blue jumpsuit.)

Me: "Who is that?"

R: "No idea."

Me: "His name should be White Face, Bucket Head.  Let's go see who he is."

Find the sign.

Me: "His name IS Buckethead and he opened with That 1 Guy."

Pause, no response due to slight distraction probably.

R sees the sign: "Oh my gosh!  You weren't kidding!  I thought you were making it up again!"

Yes people, Buckethead is out there.

River Splash

Went to River Splash this past Friday.  It is a kickoff for all of the summer festivals in the city.

Here are some pictures from the night.

Art Museum on the lake.

Lincoln Memorial Drive.

Where R ate, the first time.

Me being impatient for the shutter to hurry up.

There are always 4 things at the bigger festivals: beer, fatty food, music, fireworks.

Fatty food exhibit A.  Fried cheese curds.  They are delish.
